The CoverGirl Classic is the first major national competition in the women's elite gymnastics season. The Classic serves as the final qualifying event for the Visa Championships, which is USA Gymnastics' annual national championship. The CoverGirl Classic has two levels of competition: the International Elite Division, with junior and senior competition; and the US Challenge Division, for up-and-coming elite gymnasts.
